Chinese medicine is more than its practice. It is a set of concepts, technical skills, methods of observation, and clinical procedures that has been conditioned by the East Asian cultures in which it has evolved. It is also being conditioned by the perceptions and needs of the Western cultures that are adopting it in the current era. The purpose of the Chinese Medicine Network is to host discussions of the social, conceptual and epistemological aspects of Chinese medicine in regard to their current valuation and understandings of the receipient cultures and how it can become more fully understood and advanced as a medical service available within those cultures. Using ChineseMedicine-Network
To post a message to all the list members, send email to chinesemedicine-network@lists.redwingbooks.com. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to ChineseMedicine-Network
Subscribe to ChineseMedicine-Network by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you.
