Last week, the Coalition for the Valle Vidal ran the ad below in the 
Albuquerque Journal.  The ad thanked Rep. Heather Wilson for her 
support this far in our battle to protect the Valle Vidal.  It also 
encouraged her to take the next step.  We need her support for the 
Valle Vidal Protection Act.

Talking Points

- Thank you for your support of the Valle Vidal thus far.  However, now 
is the time to
take the next step beyond discouraging the Forest Service from 
approving gas development “at this time,” and push for permanent 
protection for the Valle Vidal by enacting federal legislation.

- The time to act is now.  I urge you to cosponsor and push Rep. Tom 
Udall's Valle Vidal Protection Act (HR 3817).

- The Forest Service process will not tell us anything we don't already 
know. Northern New Mexico's future is dependent on the Valle Vidal.  
The citizens of New Mexico have spoken.  We are unanimous in our desire 
to permanently protect the Valle Vidal from all forms of 
industrialization.

- Only Rep. Wilson's support will protect the Valle Vidal from oil and 
gas development.  Please help us protect the Valle Vidal.
