Unfortunately we're not quite ready, but stay tuned.. Meanwhile, here is a note about an exciting trip, possibily something you would be interested in joining. No, Ken is not going to be participating in it, but we thought you might still be interested. You can join Shambhala authors Judith Lief and Larry Mermelstein on a Shambhala Mountain Center pilgrimage to: NEPAL AND TIBET from April 10 - 24, 2005. This amazing trip to Nepal and Tibet will include 4 days in Kathmandu where we will be visiting the Shechen and Pullahari Monasteries including private audiences with local Tibetan Rinpoches from these monasteries. Highlights during our week in Tibet will include the more remote pilgrimage sites such as Tsurphu Monastery, once the seat of the current Karmapa, the Guru Rinpche caves of Drak Yerpa, one of the most sacred places in Central Tibet and Mount Gangri Tokar, once a mediation site for the great Nyingma master Longchen Rabjampa. Time will also be spent visiting the great monasteries and temples in Lhasa such as the Jokhang, the Potala Palace and the Summer Palace of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. We will leave Tibet through China, and our pilgrimage will conclude with an open day in Hong Kong and Kowloon where both temples and shopping abound! The trip cost of $5,490 per person includes airfare from Los Angeles and is based on double occupancy. An optional extension to Western Tibet will be offered. This tour is produced by the Shambhala Mountain Center and Authentic Asia.
